Currently Group Secretary having previously served as Staff Relations Executive, Job Evaluation Manager, News Administration Manager and Director of Corporate Affairs/Secretary. He is also a Director of his organisation�s six subsidiary companies, a Director of an associate company and chaired a major international joint venture company for a number of years. He has been his organisation�s shareholder representative with a number of major international organisations. Has had a pivotal role in two major start-up operations, nationally and internationally. He has lectured on Corporate Governance in the IPA and carried out comprehensive research into the adherence of 23 semi-state bodies with the Combined Code on Corporate Governance. He is a Director of Irish Blind Sports Limited � the National Governing Body for Sport for the visually impaired. Was in charge of Free Legal Aid Centre in Tallaght on a voluntary basis for a number of years. Is a Trustee of a Benevolent Society and a former Vice�Chairman of a very large industrial credit union. Is a fluent Irish speaker and has competency in written and oral French.
