Biography A finance professional, with strong experience & training in a number of complementary disciplines which would enable this candidate to add value at board level, both in respect of audit committees and general management & governance issues.

He has over 10 years experience at senior level in group financial oversight / regulatory & statutory reporting roles across a number of sectors � listed company / public sector / private company / banking. He has worked with and reported regularly to boards and audit committees.

He also has corporate finance experience both from a banking perspective as well as from the company perspective, having been involved in acquisition and management buyout transactions and in integrating acquisitions into multi-subsidiary group structures.

In his early career, he worked with one of Ireland�s major banks in each of Corporate Banking, Retail Banking and Financial control.

He has a keen interest in and commitment to best practice in corporate governance and is a founding Director and Honorary Treasurer of the Corporate Governance Association of Ireland.

He is a Director of The Ark (A Cultural Centre for Children), and is also active as an Adult Leader in Scouting Ireland.

As well as being a chartered certified accountant (1992), he holds a primary degree in Accounting and Finance from DCU (1989) and a post graduate Diploma in Corporate Governance from the UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business (2005).
